In recognition of our incredible physicians, one physician will be featured each month in our

decide which physician is right for you. For May, 2016, we are featuring J. Mark Gilchrist, M.D.
Dr. Gilchrist is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology since 1993 and is a
current member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and
Oklahoma Academy of Otolaryngology. The facilities he is credentialed with include Oklahoma
City’s Deaconess Hospital, Integris-Baptist and Integris Health Edmond, Mercy Health Center,
Surgery Center of Oklahoma and Summit Medical Center.
Dr. Gilchrist joined Oklahoma Otolaryngology Associates in 1993 and has served as President
since 1998. He currently sees patients in our new Edmond clinic, 3824 S. Boulevard, Suite 160,

Dr. Gilchrist enjoys spending time with his wife and children, snow skiing and golf are his
favorite sports and has a hobby of playing the acoustic guitar, he performs weekly in his
church’s worship band. He attributes his passion as a physician to his grandfather, Dr. Horace
Wood, an orthodontist in Dallas, as well as his uncle, Dr. Trevor Mabery, an otolaryngologist in
